Lot's of time slots have already been filled for families to receive free turkeys and all the fixin's at Greenhouse Ministries in Murfreesboro. Greenhouse is scheduling times for people to come in on November 17th to pick up a free turkey if they cannot afford one.


That was Julie Young at Greenhouse Ministries. For those who sign up in advance, they will be able to pick up a full size frozen turkey and sides on November 17th.

Again, Greenhouse will hold a Frozen Turkey Collection on Thursday November 16th. You can drive by and drop off a turkey to be given away on Friday the 17th between 6 in the morning and

Every November, Greenhouse Ministries holds a turkey drive where local residents drop off frozen turkeys. Those turkeys are later picked up and taken home and cooked by families so that they can enjoy a thanksgiving dinner in their home.

In 2016, well over 7,000 pounds of turkeys were donated to Greenhouse Ministries.
